Most fit into the 21st Century mold - athletic enough to fit into a spread system - but there are still some that bring a physical presence to the field, able to block and be like a sixth offensive lineman on the field. Ellsworth TE John Rabe (Minnesota) - Rabe is an athletic tight end prospect who could end up splitting out wide for the Gophers once the season gets underway. As a freshman Rabe hauled in 25 receptions for 488 yards and two touchdowns and he was just as productive this past season reeling in 46 receptions for 487 yards and two touchdowns.
