Boesch has two visits set

Teams have really started to show quite a bit of interest in Santa Monica TE Aaron Boesch (6-5, 230) recently and the talented prospect, after a great freshman season, has already set up two visits and could see some offers start pouring in over the next few weeks...

This season, Boesch was one of the top JUCO tight ends in the state of California and because of his outstanding size, soft hands and underrated speed, he is getting some attention from school across the country.

"Miami called and wants me to visit on December 9th, so I'm headed out there that weekend and I'm visiting San Diego State this coming weekend," Boesch told JCFootball.com earlier this week. "I've also had some calls from UC Davis, Sacramento State, Texas State and Central Washington, but none of them have offered me yet."

Boesch enjoyed a solid prep career in Oak Harbor, Washington on Whidbey Island, but because he didn't receive much in the way of attention from college coaches, he opted to head south and try and earn a scholarship.

"Actually, this is only my first year of playing tight end," Boesch said with a bit of a chuckle. "I had always been a defensive end in high school, so this is a new position for me and I felt like I improved as the season went on."

This season, Boesch hauled in 26 receptions for 388 yards and five touchdowns for the Corsairs and improved on a week-by-week basis as a blocker in both running and passing situations.

Boesch was a full-qualifier out of high school, so he hopes to sign with a school this month and he will have four years to play three wherever he ends up.
