JCFootball.com has been able to confirm that Monterey Peninsula QB David fales (6-3, 225) has signed with San Jose State and will enroll there next month...

Fales signed with Nevada out of high school, but after spending a year with the Wolfpack he decided to head back closer to home and get a fresh start.

The sophomore signal-caller had a great season for the Lobos in 2011, completing 63.3% of his passes for 2,807 yards with 27 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

Fales will enroll at San Jose State in January and he will have two years to play two when he arrives on campus.
