Ingram's status still up in the air

About a month ago, former L.A. Pierce TE Nate Ingram (6-3, 245) thought he was headed to Arizona State, but recently he found out two of his classes won't transfer and so he's hard at work trying to get things squared away so he can sign with the Sun Devils. He spoke with JCFootball.com recently to update where things stand...

"I thought I was all done, but it turns out I was still two classes short," Ingram told JCFootball.com. "I'm home here in New Jersey and I'm taking those classes and I should be done by May."

As a freshman in 2009, Ingram finished second on the team with 39 receptions for 398 yards and two touchdowns and in 2010, the talented tight end finished fourth on the team with 28 receptions for 310 yards and seven more scores.

In addition to his offer from the Sun Devils, Ingram also had an offer from Western Michigan and was also seeing interest from Oregon.

"ASU is my top school right now, but nothing is for sure," Ingram said. "I still have to get this stuff done and then I need to figure out what I'm going to do. They are the school I want to go to, but I can't get in if I don't finish this stuff up."

We should know in the next few weeks where Ingram will sign and we will update news as it happens with him.

If Ingram qualifies he will have two years to play two wherever he ends up.
