New offers come in for Contra Costa pair

Contra Costa head coach Alonzo Carter updated JCFootball.com over the weekend about two of his offensive linemen Damien Parris (6-7, 285) and Desmond Harrison (6-8, 320) who received BCS offers over the past week...

"Desmond got offered by Arkansas and Damien received an offer from Kansas this week," Carter told JCFootball.com. "Both of them have a bunch of other schools looking at them and could be seeing more offers come in soon."

Harrison is a freakish athlete for a man of his size and has already hauled in offers from the likes of Arizona State, Boise State, Fresno State, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina State, Purdue, Rutgers, San Diego State, San Jose State, Texas Tech, Washington and Washington State as well as the Razorbacks.

Parris is a rising star and has seen his status as a recruit skyrocket over the past two months. His offer list includes Arizona State, Fresno State and San Diego State and now the Jayhawks.

We will continue to keep track of both of their progress in the coming weeks and months and will update news as it happens with them.
