A look at some of the top tight end performances over the past week and which players are standing out for their teams so far this season. This is by no means all-inclusive, but just a snapshot of some of the top players at the position so far this year...

Riverside TE Gus Penning - The Baylor commit has been solid for the Tigers so far this season, hauling in 15 receptions for 225 yards and two touchdowns.


Palomar TE Ryan Ena - The freshman is a physical specimen and has gotten his college career off to a solid start with the Comets, hauling in seven receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown.


Georgia Military TE Kris Hurley - Hurley gets kudos for his blocking, but he's been a nice target for the GMC quarterbacks so far this season, hauling in five receptions for 63 yards.


Scottsdale TE Jovon Wilson - Wilson, a freshman, is a solid blocker, but he's also shown the soft hands and athleticism to be a target in the passsing game, hauling in seven receptions for 79 yards and two scores.


Ellsworth TE Amari Williams - Ellsworth always features their tight ends in the passing game and Williams is no exception. So far this season, the talented sophomore has hauled in nine receptions for 96 yards and one touchdown.
