Fluker thinking about new offer?

Shaquille Fluker committed to Georgia back in August, but a top program in the Big 12 has decided to come in with an offer.

"Texas has recently offered me. It is a great offer and I am thinking about taking a look at them," Shaquille Fluker told Scout.

Fluker is a 6-foot-1, 205 pound safety out of Scooba (Miss.) East Mississippi and he plans to take an official visit to Texas.

"I want to check them out, so I set up a visit there on December 7. I have talked to Coach [Bo] Davis about it and he is the coach recruiting me. I am not sure if I can enroll early there yet or not, but I do want to see what Texas it like, so I should be out there soon."

As of right now, it does not look like Fluker will be able to move to Athens in January. He is still working on that.

"Right now, I really do not know, but I may need one more class. I could have to stay and take that, then move to Georgia in the spring. I really want to get out of here and get to UGA, so I hope we can get it worked out."

The Longhorns look like they could give the Dawgs a real competitor, but Fluker really likes the competition Georgia plays each week and how they play against them.

"Georgia is an SEC and I really like that conference. I like their defense too and how physical they play.

"I am still a strong Georgia commitment and there program is something I want to be a part of."

Fluker is a three star safety on safety.
