Hautau is a native of Salt Lake City, graduating from Skyline High where he was a 5A First Team All-State selection as a senior.
Hautau is the second player to sign with Oregon State during the mid-year transfer signing period for junior college players, joining Steven Nelson, a cornerback from College of the Sequoias.
Oregon State continues to prepare for the Dec. 29 Valero Alamo Bowl showdown vs. the Texas Longhorns in San Antonio.
