Alfy Hill to join UNC-Pembroke

Alfy Hill

After committing to South Carolina last spring, junior college transfer Alfy Hill will enroll at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke in the fall.

Junior college transfer Alfy Hill has committed to play for The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

Hill committed to play for South Carolina in March, but academic issues have kept the defensive end from becoming a Gamecock.

The former three-star prospect has been with four different college programs since leaving high school.

Hill signed with Alabama in 2010, but was deemed academically ineligible by the NCAA before fall camp of that year.

He enrolled at East Carolina University but withdrew to attend a junior college in Mississippi.

Hill attended Los Angeles Valley Junior College last year but is currently taking classes at a community college in North Carolina.

In high school, Hill played in the Under Armour All-America Game.

He chose Alabama over North Carolina and several other schools.

Hill will have three years to play two at UNC-Pembroke. Recommended Stories
