Scottsdale (Az.) Community College's Dallas Noriega lands FBS offer

FoxSportsNext has confirmed that Scottsdale (Az.) Community College long snapper Dallas Noriega has received a late FBS scholarship offer and has made his verbal commitment.

SCC head coach Doug Madoski says, "Dallas was offered by UAB and made his commitment."

Long snapping guru Chris Rubio ranks Noriega as a five-star snapper and says this about him:

"Dallas is just a great Long Snapper and person. Overflowing, in a good way, personality that will dominate a locker room. His snapping is on par with the next level as is his athletic ability (moves extremely well on his feet. It is not uncommon to see him to do a cart wheel or somersault). Body is solid at 250 but he doesn't look that heavy, which is a good thing. Really impressed with him. Snaps hard and has good form. If he got his eyes through every single snap, he might never miss."

Noriega (6-0 250) prepped at Scottsdale Saguaro before playing two years at SCC. He will have three years to play two at UAB.
