Dodge City RB Tyreis Thomas

Here is a look at some of the top JUCO running back performances from last weekend as well as a quick glance at who is standing out so far this season...

Dodge City RB Tayreis Thomas - Thomas absolutely went off in Dodge City's 41-35 win over Highland last week as the sophomore rushed for 249 yards and four scores for the Conquistadors.


Minnesota West RB Reuben Linton - Linton had a big game as the Blue Jays got a 23-14 win over Fond du Lac. The talented sophomore runner had 164 yards and two touchdowns on 17 touches.


Kilgore RB Eddie Smith - Smith had 156 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries but the Rangers still dropped to 0-2 on the season with a 56-24 loss to Tyler.


Coffeyville RB Andre Allen - The sophomore workhorse toted the rock 26 times for 155 yards in a 37-19 win over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M last week.


Northeast Mississippi RB Mitchell Cunningham - Cunningham carried the ball 15 times for 139 yards and also hauled in a five-yard touchdown pass in Northeast Mississippi's 34-28 loss to Jones. So far this season, the sophomore tailback has 33 carries for 230 yards and the one touchdown reception in two games.


Dean RB Adriell Mayes - Mayes carried the ball 23 times for 126 yards and a score in Dean's 33-23 win over Monroe.


Itawamba RB Chris Ingram - The talented tailback finished with 20 carries for 102 yards and four touchdowns in the Indians' 40-6 win over Southwest Mississippi. In two games so far this season, Ingram has posted 165 yards and five scores on 33 touches.


Laney RB Valentino Miles - Miles rushed the ball 22 times for 130 yards, but Laney still lost to College of San Mateo by a score of 41-27.


College of San Mateo RB D.J. Peluso - The sophomore rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries as the Bulldogs started the season 1-0 with a 41-27 win over Laney.


Foothill RB Samuela Fanua - The Owls dropped their opening game 35-28 to Contra Costa, but Fanua still had a great game carrying the ball 22 times for 152 yards and one touchdown.


Butte RB Robert Frazier - The freshman tailback got things started with a bang in his first college game, carrying the ball 18 times for 145 yards and two scores and helped lead the Roadrunners to a 45-14.


Butte RB Kendall Williams - Williams, also a freshman, wouldn't be outdone by his teammate. He too had a big day, toting the rock 12 times for 135 yards and one he took 84 yards to the house for a score.


Hartnell RB DeAndre Mann - Mann totaled 130 yards and three scores on his 12 carries while helping to lead Hartnell to a 41-7 win over Los Medanos.


Palomar RB Justin Harris - The freshman had a big game in the Comets' 31-14 win over El Camino as he notched 22 carries for 105 yards and also added three receptions for 30 more yards.


San Diego Mesa RB Matt Rochelle - Rochelle filled up the stat sheet in the Olympians' 35-28 win over L.A. Southwest last week as he totaled 52 yards and one touchdown on the ground, added four receptions for 34 yards and an 85-yard kickoff return for a score.


Riverside RB Anthony Knight - Knight pounded away at the Ventura defense, rushing for 185 yards and two scores on 25 carries in leading the Tigers to a 59-41 win.


Riverside RB Sir-Darius Yarbrough - Yarbrough had a solid afternoon, adding 148 yards and a score on 14 carries in Riversides 59-41 win over Ventura.


Bakersfield RB Preston Hodges - Hodges had a hand in the Gades' 24-9 win over Santa Ana as the freshman rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.


L.A. Southwest RB Malcolm Thomas - Thomas had 125 yards rushing and two scores in Southwest's 59-34 win over East Los Angeles.
