Anau Is Focusing On The Process

Scottsdale DE Siupeli Anau (6-3, 245) had a monster sophomore season for the Artichokes this past fall and that has led to a handful of offers. The talented prospect will take two visits later this month and hopes to make his decision shortly after that...

"Things have been going well," Anau told JCFootball.com recently. "I have four offers -- Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Idaho and Northern Arizona -- and I'm taking two visits later this month."

Anau plans to visit Northern Arizona on January 17th and he will visit Georgia Southern on January 24th.

"I've got a couple more visits available to me, so I may take them or I may not. It all sorta depends on who wants me to visit and when and how my two officials go."

As a sophomore for the 'Chokes this past season, Anau totaled 90 tackles with 18 tackles-for-loss and six sacks and said he worked hard during the offseason to get better at his craft.

"I worked a lot on getting bigger and stronger and faster," Anau said. "I'm quick off the ball, but I wanted to be more explosive so I could close on the quarterback better and that's what happened, but it was a lot of hard work to get there."

Anau is on pace to graduate in May and he will have three years to play two starting in the fall.
