Walters is a lock-down corner

One of the top performers at the SoCal JCFootball.com combine this year was Cerritos CB Smith "B.G." Walters (5-9, 175). He came to southern California from Florida and even though he might be slight in stature, he's proven to be a physical, shut-down corner. We spoke to him recently and he talked about his journey west and what he loves to do on the football field.

"I love locking guys down, but I think I'm a complete corner," Walters told JCFootball.com. "I can get up on them and run with them or play zone and be physical. You can stick me out on an island and I can cover them that way too and when I see it's a running play I can come up and make the play on the back." As a senior at William P.
