Two schools start looking at Garrison
Chris Garrison update

Solid left tackles are tough to find, but Mesa (Az.) College OT Chris Garrison (6-5, 312) is a player that some D-1 schools are just starting to hear about. He talked recently with JCFootball.com about his journey to Mesa, his season as well as how recruiting is coming along.
"Things have been picking up recently," Garrison told JCFootball.com. "I just started getting calls from
Middle Tennessee
and
Tulsa
both started calling me this past week so that's pretty recent.
"Before that it had pretty much been some D-2 schools looking at me."
Garrison signed with Northern
Arizona
out of high school, but after going through three offensive coordinators and two line coaches in less than 12 months he decided to move on.
"It just wasn't the right fit," Garrison said. "I just didn't feel comfortable there with all the changes so coming to Mesa is what I thought was best for me and I've really been happy here."
Garrison has his two-year degree already and will have two years to play two.
"I kept our QB clean all year," Garrison said proudly. "We had the number one offense in the country so I took it as a challenge to be the best I could be and to make sure my QB stayed upright.
"Dax Crum had a big year for us and I wanted to make sure he stayed clean and I did.
"I think I'm a good pass-blocker, but I can be aggressive and drive block. I'll do whatever it takes to be successful."
We'll continue to follow Garrison's progress and update things as they change.
