Graham mulling over offers

Every year D-1 schools are looking for JC players to fill in gaps in their roster and El Camino TE Cameron Graham (6-5, 260) has become a big time target for several programs. He just got back from visiting a MAC school and up next is a visit to a Big East school that recently came into the picture. Read on to find out more about Graham's recruiting stops and where he could eventually end up...

"I took my trip to Northern Illinois last weekend and it was a lot of fun," Graham told JCFootball.com. "I had fun just getting to know the coaches and the players and we went out one night and just hung out."

These past few weeks Graham's phone has been ringing off the hook and one school that he's been talking to the most has even offered him a trip this coming weekend.

"Florida State, LSU, South Florida, Memphis and West Virginia have all been calling me or my coaches," Graham said. "Louisville is the one that I'm visiting this coming weekend though. They had called my dad and since I didn't get to talk to them, I called them back and I spoke with both coach (Brent) Myers and coach (Steve) Kragthorpe.

"They got me really jacked about coming out there and checking out the program and the city. I mean, they play in a big conference and they have an exciting offense and they are in a great city. I'm really excited about next weekend.

"They told me they want me to come in and start if I learned the plays in time and that I could be a real asset in their system."

So is there a chance that Graham could end up committing while on his visit?

"I don't know," Graham said. "It's just such an important decision, I'd like to check things out and then come back home and talk to my family about it.

"I'm just not sure on that subject, but you never know though."

As a freshman at El Camino this past season, Graham only posted five receptions for 82 yards, but schools have taken note of his impressive size and athleticism.

Graham was one of the more impressive players at the southern California JCFootball.com combine, putting up 225 pounds 14 times on the bench, while also managing to notch a 4.8 forty time.

We'll have more from Graham after his visit to Louisville next weekend. Stay tuned...
