He's talented, he's got good size and he can run well, but Grossmont TE Kyle Hipp (6-5, 240) is still waiting for that offer he can't pass up. JCFootball.com caught up with the talented tight end recently and he updated us on things...

"I'm still waiting on things as far as recruiting is concerned," Hipp told JCFootball.com recently. "I'm getting my tape out to schools, I've sent out a ton already, and I'm hoping teams will like what they see and take a look at me."

With his outstanding size and speed (4.8) Hipp managed to post 11 receptions for 203 yards and four touchdowns as a backup tight end for the Griffs in 2007 and in 2008 Hipp managed to post 18 receptions for 280 yards and four scores while earning All-Conference honors for his efforts.

"I can block well and catch it well," Hipp said. "I hope a school likes me enough to give me a chance because they won't be disappointed if they do."

In December, Hipp was seeing interest pick up from schools like Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and BYU but all have seemingly moved on.

"Right now Henderson State a D-2 school is the only school really recruiting me right now," Hipp said. "I've lready got my AA degree so I can leave at any time and I would like to sign with a school and be there for spring ball if I can."
