A threat out of the slot is a huge luxury for any offense to have and one of the better slot receivers in the California JUCO ranks is Cerritos WR Sheldon Smith (5-11.5, 175). He had a solid freshman season and that has resulted in several four-year programs from across the country looking at him to possibly come in and be a playmaker in their offense.
