| Charles Silas (6-6, 255, 4.6) out of Georgia Military College, was a dominating defensive end in high school. Outstanding footwork and speed for his size. He is an aggressive and dominating defensive end on a very tough Georgia Military defensive unit that will send all of their defensive players to major D1 teams. Committed to Dave Roberts of USC out of high school and he continues to be a heavy lean to the Gamecocks. Expected to join fellow Georgia Military teammates Marcus Lawrence, Jermaine Harris, Randy Jackson, DeAdrian Coley, Ricky Grant and Corey Peoples on Lou Holtz's 2003 USC Gamecock football team. Very good pursuit guy who plays off the hip well and gets down the line in a hurry. Has exceptional "football speed," for a young man his size. |
